Procession 

The procession or cortege on 15, 22 and 29 August 2010 is certainly the highlight of the Virga Jesse festivities. On Wednesday 18 August 2010 the procession will be held in the evening. The illumination along the "Green Boulevard" will turn this procession into a very special event.

More than two thousand participants, assembled around the ancient sculpture of the Virga Jesse, will act out the most important scenes from Our Lady's life, all place in a modern context. This year the theme of the procession is: Virga Jesse, star given to us.
